Sports Performance Training

The goals of all training programs at Crown Performance are as follows

  1. Improve Performance
  2. Increase Work Capacity
  3. Refine Technique
  4. Reduce and even eliminate injury
  5. Sports Performance Training at Crown Performance is placed into two categories.

Conditioning Training places emphasis on form running, footwork drills, balance, anaerobic threshold, speed development and agility.

Our Strength Training is based upon the usage of the Olympic Weightlifting Movements (Snatch, Clean and Jerk) as well as Pulls, Squats and Presses placed in a series of teaching progressions that will improve power production in the athletes chosen sports.

All programs are both age and skill appropriate and athletes will advance and improve at their own pace as programs are individualized based upon the assessments that the athletes are exposed to.

Training Programs are scheduled for 3, 70 minute sessions per week where the athletes progress will be recorded.
